Just received my new Olympus CX43 microscope with an Olympus DP 28 with 8.9 MP camera and Dimension software on my laptop, all in a large Pelican Case to transport wherever I go in the World. Thank you Craig Noble Olympus Rep in SA for your always excellent support and advice.
This CX 43 has a Universal Condensor with Bright Field, Dark Field and Phase Contrast.
Last month Jinny and I visited Norfolk Island and I discovered a number of new records of protists and diatoms, easy as previous CSIRO, Museums and others all concentrated on metazoans. I collected very small samples (1-5 ml) and images were recorded using my Olympus DP 28 microscope camera. Over the comming months I intend to post my findings on this site.
