Last week my friend and colleague Dr Denis Lynn died in a tragic accident whilst with his graduate students by the sea. Denis gave me so much encouragement in my quest for a PhD at age 76. Never to busy to read my emails, suggest ideas or look at my images, he will always be in my thoughts. Jinny and I remember sitting with Denis at dinner in Prague at ICOP 2017, lots of laughter and good humour.
